"When you dance you can enjoy the luxury of being you", Paulo Coelho.
Let’s welcome the beauty of fall with open arms by dancing in nature.
Let’s have some fun with popular and easy beginner line dances, Cupid Shuffle, The Set Slide, Fireball... Line dancing is a wonderful way to get us up and moving together. 5, 6, 7, 8, forward, backward, to the side, and turn.... Being active with your friends, laughing together, training your memory, and enjoying the music will make you happy on this fall afternoon.
This event will be led by Gundula.
She will be wearing a rainbow colored bandana around her neck.
We will gather in a nice open grassy spot along the creek that has a lot of shaded areas.
Park on neighborhood streets by the corner of Newton Ave. S. and W, 51st St. Walk down the little hill to the open grassy area by the creek.
This activity is not about teaching line dance, but about having fun together. Gundula will keep the steps simple so members may just watch her and follow along as the music plays. Bring a lawn chair if you just want to hang out and watch.
Please keep an eye on this posting as the date or time may change due to the weather.
All our meetups have a minimum of 5 in order to run.
Please change your RSVP if you are not able to make it for any reason.
