# This walk was scheduled for Dec. 14. Because of low temperatures, I postponed the walk to Dec. 28 ⛄️

“December is the time for remembering the past and reaching toward the future.”

Let’s continue our series of ‚Walks Around The Lake‘.
Join our group for another walk around one of the gorgeous lakes in the Twin Cities: Lake Nokomis - a great place to get away without leaving the cities.
The pedestrian trail around the lake is 2.7 miles long. It’s paved and almost completely flat.
Although the trail is maintained during the winter, make sure to wear shoes/boots with good traction.
This walk will be led by Gundula. She will be wearing a blue knitted hat with white horses.
Our group will meet at the north end of Lake Nokomis by the parking lot located at 4860 E Lake Nokomis Pkwy (kayak launch in summer - see below picture ).
Parking is free.
Please be on time. For winter hikes the leader may not wait long for late arrivals.
For our outdoor events, no pets unless the event leader writes they are welcome in the posting.
Keep an eye on this posting as the date or time may change due to weather conditions. All our meetups have a minimum of 5 in order to run.
Please change your RSVP if you are not able to make it for any reason.
