This sign up is for members who are not camping but would like to come out just for the day on Saturday to enjoy the park.
Rice Creek Chain of Lakes Park Reserve has something for everyone - beach, boating, canoe and kayak rental, birding, fishing, miles of biking and hiking trails.

Check out the park web site for more information:

Canoes and kayaks are available for rent at Wargo Nature Center - one mile north of the campsite.

This park is part of the Anoka County Park System, so vehicle fees apply ($ 7 per day or $ 30 per year).
If you carpool, you only need one pass on the vehicle.
More information about where to get the vehicle permit at this link:

We will have a shared potluck group meal on Saturday night for all members. Jill and Gundula have reserved the group campsite. This is where you will find our group (see separate event listing for overnight campers to sign up).

Bring your own camp chair, plate, cup & utensils.

Each member coming for a day visit on Saturday will need to contribute $7/person to cover the site reservation fee. Pay the fee to the event leaders, Jill or Gundula, when you arrive.
More information about activities and planning the Saturday dinner will be sent closer to the time.
