Sounding Board

Have a talk that you are working on and are looking to practice in front of friendly faces? Never given a talk and need a reason to start one? Want some constructive feedback or just some human bodies to listen to you yammer? Interested in listening to some tech (and non-tech) talks? Just want to drink some Capri Suns?

Come join us! We are going to have a Sounding Board night where anyone can drop in and regale us with their 5 minute talk on any subject. Sometimes it gets old torturing your roommates and co-workers, or perhaps you'd prefer a group of women to listen. We will offer you feedback, if you like, or not, if you would prefer just to practice.

I'd like to get about 6-8 5 minute talks on the docket, so if you want to give a talk or know someone who does, please let me know!

Special Feedback Guests will be Kristen Gallagher of Edify Education Design and presenter of "How to "do" Talks and Workshops" at ACT-W Portland.
