Temescal Gateway Park encompass 141 acres of oak and sycamore canyons, ridge top views, and access to miles of trails in Topanga State Park, Will Rogers State Historic Park, and the 20,000-acre "Big Wild." The popular loop trail starts adjacent to the year-round Temescal Creek and travels along the canyon ridge, offering spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean.

The Canyon Trail is about 1.5 miles taking you to the waterfall and the Viewpoint Trail takes you back to the trailhead on Sunset with great views along of the Pacific. If we want to do the entire loop, it's about 3 miles of not so strenuous hike. We can all go for lunch afterwards at the Santa Monica Farmers Market or whatever the group's choice.

Dogs are welcome but on leash only.

Ample parking is available at the park entrance for $7.00 per day or you can park free on Sunset Blvd, a short walk from the trailhead.
