Component vs Feature teams: Team composition & your organization's ability to execute

Component teams only touch certain parts of the system (like a particular Microservice, a server, a database...), while Feature teams work on the entire technology stack. Choosing one composition over the other may have a more dramatic effect on the ability to get work done than you might think!

Come explore with us how these differences play out in a simulated planning where we try both team compositions.

What to expect

This Meetup will be an interactive workshop where we simulate a planning to explore and learn the implications of different teams composition.

• Short introduction and explanation of the exercise
• Simulation exercise in two rounds
• Sharing of observations and learnings

We will start at 18:30 with some drinks and snacks before we start our simulated exploration at 19:00 sharp.
