Hello! My name is Kristin Compton. I'm an art instructor at Spruill Center for the Arts.
In this class, the goal is for you develop into the best artist you can be. Here you will have the freedom to paint in your unique and individual style while learning various art techniques along the way. Gentle constructive criticism will help you grow as an artist and art viewer. Every session the instructor will provide a subject/still life/photo, or you can supply your own. Whether you’re painting with acrylics, watercolors, oils, or pastels, let’s paint together! If you don’t want to paint, drawing is fine; bring your pencils, charcoals, and markers. Let’s explore two-dimensional in all its forms together!
