Fun here al fresco style with a screening of superb comedy Anchorman starring Will Ferrell.
These movie-in-the-park events are popular each year with members and a great way to visit new locations around London.
The organisers have given us a special discount to keep it under a tenner. Tickets for the screening are normally £12, plus 50p booking fee.
My members pay £9.50.

Join us from 8pm at Greenwich Peninsula Park. Our names will be on the guest list at the entrance.
We'll secure a spot together by the screen in the park. You can bring your own buffet picnic, drinks and snacks. Hot food is available too, including burgers and popcorn plus a stocked bar with a chiller.
The film starts at 9.15pm.
Ends around 10.45pm.
You should bring something to sit on like a beach towel.
Arrive earlier if you can for a cable car ride over the Thames. Timings below.
Note our £9.50 covers entry to the film only. The cable car ride is optional.

Greenwich Peninsula park is next to London's cable car experience, a 3 minutes walk from North Greenwich tube station.
Meet us at North Greenwich station at 7.15pm for this ride.
To attend, RSVP as normal for the film. I'll message you meeting information nearer the date.
The trip is 25 minutes, longer than in the daytime for a more relaxed experience and includes video and music. You receive a souvenir in-flight guide as well.
Pay at the Emirates ticket desk on arrival. Return rides are £10.70, or £8.40. For the cheaper fare of £8.40 bring a valid Oyster card with credit on it.
Each cable car takes 10 passengers and brings you back to our meeting point. There's no need to disembark at the other side.
I'll wait at the Emirates ticket desk for late comers. If you have large bags or a hamper for the screening, you can leave them with me while taking the ride.
Afterwards it's a 1 minute walk to the Park for the movie.

GREENWICH PENINSULA CENTRAL PARK
North Greenwich station is on the Jubilee Line in Zones 2 and 3. Journey time from Central London is 20 minutes.
The park is a 3 minute walk from North Greenwich station.
The venue is completely open air - if there's light rain, ponchos are handed out. In the rare instance of a screening being cancelled you'll be given a full refund.
