PHNIX Rising Series – Part 2: 🎨 Play in Color | Creative Art Workshop

Join us for the second gathering in the PHNIX Rising Series — a four-part creative journey of release, reconnection, and rebirth.

In Ashes to Art (Part 1), we released what no longer serves us. Now, in Play in Color, we shift into lightness, joy, and playful creativity — making art purely for the pleasure of creating.

✨ Why it matters:
Research shows that unstructured, playful art-making can reduce stress hormones, improve mood, and spark new ideas. When you give yourself permission to play, you reconnect with your natural creativity and open the door to deeper self-expression.

We’ll begin with:

• A short movement and breathwork warm-up to release tension
• Playful, color-based prompts to spark creativity and exploration

Then, you’ll create your Play in Color piece — a vibrant, layered work that reflects your unique energy in the moment.

🎨 Color Burst Canvas

• Use watercolors or acrylics to create bold, colorful layers.
• Let your brush or tool move intuitively — choose colors that feel nourishing and uplifting in the moment.

🎨 Texture Playboard

• Use unexpected tools — sponges, stamps, found objects, stencils — to layer patterns and shapes.
• Focus on exploration over perfection and embrace surprises in your process.

• Any colorful art materials (paints, crayons, oil pastels, markers)
• Paper or canvas
• Playful tools for texture (sponges, stamps, brushes, found objects)
• Music for inspiration
