Let's "GET MOVING FOR VICTORIA'S LAW"

Details
The HSUS-Pennsylvania is hosting a virtual event called “Get Moving for Victoria’s Law!” This event is an effort to support and promote the priority bill, Victoria’s Law, which will move the pet market toward more humane sources like shelters and rescues, stop the sale of puppy mill dogs, cats, and rabbits in PA pet stores, and protect consumers from being deceived into supporting puppy mills.
You can participate in this event from anywhere! Just pull out your sneakers, wear a POP OF PURPLE, and head outside for some exercise. SNAP A PHOTO on your walk, featuring your furry friends (hopefully sporting some purple as well!), and add the hashtag #VictoriasLaw. If you have a foster or rescue, it would be pawesome if you tagged their shelter or rescue in your post!!!
SHARE the Get Moving for Victoria's Law Facebook event and Encourage friends and family to participate. And of course, post your photo here!
We strongly encourage strict adherence to the COVID-19 social distancing guidelines during your participation in this event.
Here are some ways you can help broaden the impact of this event:
Contact your legislators and invite them to participate with us in this special virtual event. You can find your legislators by looking up your town here. And of course, share the HSUS 2020 Horrible Hundred report that documents 6 Pennsylvania puppy dealers and how poorly they have treated the dogs in their care. And remember that many out-of-state dealers like the ones in the Horrible Hundred Report, from as far away as Missouri and Kansas, also send puppies to pet stores. PA already had a problem with puppy mills. We don’t need even more puppy mills from other states flooding our state with even more puppy mill dogs through pet store sales.
Hope to see all your smiling faces from a distance!
