A new Mahjong card means a fresh start for everyone. With the 2026 card now out, many players are pausing to learn the new patterns and strategies, making this an ideal time for beginners to step in. Start with Mahjong Lessons 101 and discover how fun and rewarding it is to learn, play, connect, and join them at the table.

What is included
We will provide everything you need to play. If you have a 2026 NMJL card, please bring it with you. We will have some to borrow and a few to purchase.

You will be given a drink ticket for one cocktail on the house. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

We welcome you to come in early for a bite to eat or to stay afterward for dinner.

2:00 - 2:30 PM | Arrive at the Front Desk to check in, get a name tag, grab a drink, and get comfortable.

2:30 PM | Play begins on the Mezzanine Level

A new community is forming around one of the most social games there is. Showdown Social, the newest Mahjong spot in town, will celebrate the release of the 2026 HMJL American Mahjong card, traditional Hong Kong Mahjong game play, and welcome new players to the table.
