Let's talk about Spirituality
Details
At a time when organized religions are losing their authority and coherence, many find themselves navigating an uncertain and fragmented landscape—a spectrum of diverse cultural cosmologies and practices, the rise of self-directed, self-appointed teachers and guides, and an increasingly commodified “metaphysical marketplace.” Alongside this expansion has come a growing disillusionment with what might be called “spiritual-lite” offerings: easily consumed, quickly forgotten, and often lacking depth or authenticity. Yet beneath this discontent, the underlying hunger—for meaning, for mystery, for genuine connection—remains undiminished.
Let’s talk about spirituality. How do you define it? What does it mean? What does it mean to you? How do you make it operative, what are its forms and practices? Do you see it as a prerequisite in your life?
This conversation is a space to explore our need for meaning without defaulting to inherited dogma, and to consider the possibility of transcendent experience outside the bounds of formal religion and practice. The aim to move beyond surface-level spiritual discourse and toward something more grounded, more honest. Could such a conversation be a foundation for the creation of a modern wisdom school?
