Huntington is Long Island's best dining and nightlife destination, having in excess of 150 restaurants. This group's mission is to explore the dining delights of Huntington. In so doing, we will enjoy laughs and great conversations and turn acquaintances into friends
For starters, I've compiled a list of 60 of Huntington's best dining venues to begin trying. Though our primary focus will be Huntington, we will sometimes venture into surrounding towns (loosely defined!) to enjoy some great dining opportunities elsewhere. While I have no immediate plans to do so, we may even take a "road trip" from time to time. I also anticipate doing combined events with other Meetup groups.
This group will offer only small and intimate dining experiences and limit the number of attendees to 6-8 people. We are also seeking only active members. Therefore, I will purge members who do not visit our site for six months. Moreover, in contrast to Let's Eat Long Island, from time to time, I will schedule events at restaurants that do not take reservations. This group welcomes singles and couples and, because of anticipated demand, we do not allow guests.
