About us
Our group explores various neighborhoods in New York's five boroughs. The focus is on culture (monuments, historic landmarks, religious buildings), food and drink, recreation (museums, parks), and some shopping (markets, unique stores). We usually stroll through a neighborhood, taking in the vibe and checking out locations of interest, before eating at a local restaurant. As an example, the first five neighborhoods we visited were the Lower East Side, Astoria, Central Harlem, the Financial District, and Williamsburg.
