This is a very active traveling group, with some hiking events as well. Because sometimes hiking and traveling go together. If you can't make that commitment at this time, please, join another time when you are ready. If this doesn't interest you, this group is probably not for you. I like taking pictures of our adventures, if you don't want your picture taken, please say so, before I take it. Otherwise, I will have my camera rolling. :)

We do try to carpool, and most of the time we have regulars drivers who don't mind driving, but one day you will be asked to drive, so be ready. I expect everyone to be able to drive to an event, in case you can't get into a carpool. If you don't drive then it is your responsibility to get to the carpool area. All drivers will be accommodated for gas, the driver will determine the cost since all cars are different. Cost is usually divided in a fair manner.

We host a lot of local events for a chance to meet each other and form a friendship. So you can have a roommate when we travel out of town, out of state or out of country together. Many friendships have started with this group.
Disclaimer: Due to Covid-19  when you RSVP to an event, each member must be prepare to drive their own car in case you can't get in a car. No one should feel it is their responsibility for taking members to an event.  We are not Uber, Lyft or your personal Taxi.
If you and the person driving agree to carpool that is totally okay. If you are not the driver, you should be paying the driver, what is your fair share of the gas and itshould be paid before you get in the car. This should be agreed upon before the event so no surprises arise. Please be aware, Covid is still around our country, but we are still hosting events, so it is your responsibility to take care of yourself. You may wear a mask at your own discretion. You should have hand sanitizer with you at all times. We have been practicing social distancing whenever we can.

There will be times I have to set a limit on our groups, because of the venue. Not my fault, I want everyone to come! So there will be a waiting list.
If you are thinking about an event, don't sign up and drop the day of the event. Sign up only if you are sure you are going. You should only RSVP if you are going. Your RSVP is an agreement that you are going at your own risk and you will not hold "Let's Get Out of Here,"responsible for any unforeseen circumstances.  Change your RSVP, as soon as you are not feeling well or an emergency comes up. We all been there. But if you make a habit of changing your RSVP in the last few days, you will be moved to the wait-list.  Yes, some of you are making this your new habit.

All members must have a picture of yourself or you will be removed from the group. But may return with your posted picture. If you don't want to post a picture of yourself or join with a real name, please do not join this group. This is for safety. I will look for you at an event, not your dog, or a cartoon or your child, I want to meet you!

Please don't forget 3 No Shows, and you will be removed from the group. We want active members not place holders.
You are joining this group because it seems interesting to you, you are allowed to leave anytime you want. I have the right to accept you or remove you if I don't see that you are a good fit, for the group. I wish everyone was a good fit, but in reality that doesn't always happen.
Too many rules? I'm sorry but many situations have come up in the past, that forces me to lay down these rules.
Nothing to do? Nowhere to go? Quit complaining, take action.

The intent of this group is to organize a fun, adventurous group to frequently travel to various cities; San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas, and all the places in between. We even started traveling to countries.
