Local Walk - Thrapston Nene Valley, Figure of 8 walk, 9 miles, leader John

Details

This walk is a figure-of-8 walk, where we walk a morning loop, returning to the start point at lunchtime, and after lunch walk a second route in the afternoon. This means people can walk the morning loop only, the afternoon loop only, or walk all day. If you are walking all day please bring some lunch with you, as there may not be time to buy food during the break.

The morning loop is 4.5 miles, starting from the Chancery Lane Car Park (free car park) promptly at 10.30 the walk heads north out of the town past Nene Sailing Club around Titchmash Nature Reserve and back along the Nene river to Thrapston. We will stop for lunch in Thrapston and go to the three hills brewery for a drink.
