National walk - Oxford, 6.5 miles, walk leader Kev

This walk is in 3 parts (1) a walk into Oxford, 2.8mi (2) free time in the city centre (3) a walk back to the start, 3.3mi.

Please allow plenty of time to park and reach the starting point. Park considerately in the village of Wolvercote, Oxford (or in the Godstow Car Park, OX2 8PE) and then head to the Trout Inn, 195 Godstow Rd, Wolvercote, OX2 8PN, where the walk will start at 10:30am promptly.

From the Trout Inn we will walk along by the River Thames into the centre of Oxford (around 2.8 miles).
We will have around 2 hours to individually explore the city centre before meeting back outside County Hall (4 New Rd, Oxford OX1 1AY) for the walk back.
You will be instructed on the day as to the time and exact spot to meet for the return walk.
We will walk back along the Oxford Canal to the starting point (around 3.3 miles).

The route will be fairly flat as it is along river and canal paths and around the city centre.
