This New Members walk is a figure-of-8 walk, where we walk a morning loop, returning to the start point at lunchtime, and after lunch walk a second route in the afternoon. This means people can walk the morning loop only, the afternoon loop only, or walk all day. If you are walking all day please bring some lunch with you, as there may not be time to buy food during the break.
Meet in the lower car park near the Cafe at 10.30am at Sywell Country Park, please note that the lower car park where we are meeting can fill up quickly so please allow plenty of time to park in the upper car park. There is a parking charge of £3.50.
The morning walk will be a 3 mile walk around the reservoir on good paths but it could well have puddles.
We will stop for lunch around the benches near the cafe
Afternoon walk
Please arrive at 1230 for a 1245 start we head south out of the country park walking around the Northamptonshire countryside.
