Let’s Go! Explore Pensacola Geocaching is a community for adventurers, explorers, and curious minds who enjoy combining technology, the outdoors, and a bit of treasure-hunt excitement.
We organize regular geocaching outings throughout Pensacola and the surrounding Gulf Coast area, exploring parks, trails, beaches, and historic sites. Whether you’re brand new to geocaching or a seasoned cacher with hundreds of finds, this group is designed to be welcoming, social, and fun.
What We’re About
🧭 Adventure with Purpose
We use GPS-enabled devices and geocaching apps to locate hidden containers (“caches”) placed in public spaces. Each outing is a chance to discover new locations you might otherwise overlook.
🌊 Exploring Pensacola Differently
From coastal paths to wooded preserves, we aim to highlight the natural beauty and hidden gems of the Pensacola area. You’ll get exercise, fresh air, and local knowledge all at once.

This isn’t a solo hobby here. We encourage teamwork, collaboration, and mentorship. New members can learn the basics—how to read coordinates, cache etiquette, and logging finds—while experienced members can share strategy and stories.
