5th Avenue Highlights and Central Park Hidden Gems
Details
A beautiful walk in an amazing city!
I'm a licensed tour guide in NYC and this is one of my favorite and most in-demand tours.
Come enjoy outdoors, masked up, socially distanced sightseeing with fellow lovers of Manhattan during a most unusual time in New York's history.
We will begin by meeting under the Atlas sculpture that faces the main entrance of St. Patrick's Cathedral on Fifth Avenue. (The address is 52nd Street & Fifth Avenue at 45 Rockefeller Plaza, 10111)
We will end at the West 72nd Street and Central Park West exit of Central Park across from The Dakota Building convenient to all forms of transportation to all parts of NYC.
This event is $20 per person because I will be providing lively commentary throughout the tour.
That commentary will reveal NYC landmarks to you from a fresh perspective - the history, heartache, humor and glamour behind each highlight! I will also show you Central Park as a local, bringing you to its hidden gems (the ones even some fellow New Yorkers have missed over the years) to see views you would never expect to find in the heart of Manhattan.
We will be walking on sidewalks and paved paths throughout the tour and will also encounter some steps. Walking distance will be a slow and steady 7-8 miles.
Please arrive at 10:45 AM because we will begin on time.
I was born and raised in this city and would love to show you its very best with some surprises included. My goal is to have you fall in love with NYC all over again and hopefully have you saying, "I want to come back here again and again!" by the time our afternoon together ends. :-)
PLEASE YOU MUST WEAR YOUR MASKS ON THIS WALK. If that is a challenge for you please join us next season when things have changed. As a member of the licensed tour guiding community in New York I have committed to abiding by the guidelines and standards of safety for guests that have been established by NYC.gov.
See you soon for a beautiful NYC afternoon!
