Let's Go for a Walk to Little Island and socialize at Pier 57!

Let's Go Social 40+ presents a 2-part event:
We are pleased to be hosting this get together in 2 of the most iconic locations in Manhattan. Feel free to come to 1 or both parts.
1. Walk to Little Island and meet fellow groups members and guests (10am)
2. Gather at Pier 57 (Market 57) (approximately 11am) - enjoy an opportunity to:
- Interact with other group members
- Play games
- Prizes
- A special surprise
The walk is a rain or shine event -the Pier 57 part of the social takes place indoors in great indoor space, should you decide to skip the walk or be running late just meet us at Pier 57 (Market 57, 11th Ave and 15th St.) just past the food court on the left-hand side. We will be at Pier 57 at 10:45 - 11:00.

Please RSVP so that if any event changes occur you will be properly informed.
Notes:
1. The total walking time will be approximately 50 minutes; we will walk thru Little Island and further south along the Hudson River Greenway.
We walk at a moderate conversational pace. This will be about 2 miles, don't worry about keeping up, we are coming back the same way and can collect you on the way back.
2. At Pier 57 we will have a designated area, transformed from its original maritime industrial use, it now offers a curated market hall, as well as very good food and drink options.
3. While our group focuses on 40+ all ages are welcome.
4. Please feel free to come alone, over 90% of the people come solo, if you feel awkward or shy please seek out the organizers and we will be sure to make you feel welcome.
