Hello Let's Hike PNW!
I am planning a hike up to the Granite Lakes
Moderate - 7.7mi Trail length out and back
2,400ft Elevation gain
4hr44min Average time
Out & back

Saturdays hike will be out to Granite Lake. This trail ascends through a valley surrounded by mountain peaks to two pristine alpine lakes. The trail is well-maintained but can be overgrown in some sections. Please bring good hiking shoes, water and snacks with you and any other weather based necessities. there could be possible ice or snow in locations according to what trail goers are saying on all trails.

We will be meeting by the trailhead at 8AM and we will wait about 15 minutes and show up to begin the hike.

By hiking with the group, you are agreeing to hike at your own risk. If you are uncomfortable with group settings, do not come.

Is this hike suitable for beginners?
This is a moderate hike but can be done by beginners, but note the elevation and plan accordingly.

Are dogs or kids allowed on this hike?
Yes, both are welcome but please note difficulty level and elevation. Dogs must be on leash.

How is parking?
There is a main lot for parking.

Is a Discover Pass required for parking?
Yes

Carpooling is highly encouraged!! Reach out in comments if you can provide a ride or need a ride.

How long will this hike take?
I anticipate it will take 4-5 hours.

Is this a rain or shine event?
If there is a great chance of rain, the event will be cancelled to ensure everyone's safety. I will watch the weather closely as the date gets closer and keep everyone updated.
