Rattlesnake Ledges to East Peak

4.6. Hard Rattlesnake Mountain Scenic Area
9.7 ml Trail length
2,664ft Elevation gain
6-6.5 hrm Estimated time

This route takes hikers to the popular Rattlesnake Ledges, and then continues on to the summit of East Peak. There are awesome views On Rattlesnake Lake and the nearby mountains from the series of ledges lower, middle and upper. At East Peak, there is a bench in place to sit and enjoy the view from. The trail is wel-maintained and easy to follow.

Please also join us if you would only like to hike to the top of Rattlesnake Ledge as we will stop there first before continuing on to the East ledge for a longer hike. You will then have to head down on your own or with any other hikers not wishing to continue onto the East Peak.

This hike has some amazing views from the ledge. Please bring good hiking shoes, water and snacks with you.

We will be meeting by the trailhead at 8AM and we will wait about 15 minutes and show up to begin the hike.

By hiking with the group, you are agreeing to hike at your own risk. If you are uncomfortable with group settings, do not come.
