Let's Hike! Annette Lake Trail
Details
Hello Let's Hike PNW!
I am planning a hike up to Annette Lake
Difficult - 7 mi Trail length out and back
2000 ft Elevation gain
4-5 Average time
Out & back
Saturdays hike will be out to the Annette Lake. The first portion of the trail can be muddy alongside waterfalls to get to the Annette Lake trailhead. A series of switchbacks through an old-growth forest make for a fun climb with beautiful views and stunning avalanche chutes. In the winter months, bringing special equipment such as spikes or waterproof shoes is recommended. lt's a beautiful winter wonderland with lots of snowpacks in certain parts of the season. The alpine lake can be almost entirely frozen over and very charming, with a mountain backdrop. Though snow on the trail is compacted by foot traffic, stick to it as snow is a couple of feet high on the sides most of the way and can be dangerous. The gradual elevation gain makes for a great hike through the Snoqualmie Pass. Please bring good hiking shoes, water and snacks with you if you want.
We will be meeting by the trailhead at 8AM and we will wait about 15 minutes and show up to begin the hike.
The app all trails can help you with directions to the trailheads if you're having trouble finding it. Just type in trail name and then hit directions. Or feel free to reach out.
By hiking with the group, you are agreeing to hike at your own risk. If you are uncomfortable with group settings, do not come.
