What we’re about
Most of the world’s problems today seem too big for just a few of us to make much of a difference.
But the litter on our streets and freeways isn’t one of them.
Which is why we started “Let’s Just Pick it Up.”
On the last Saturday of every month, we gather at 9 am at a designated part of our neighborhood that’s in need of clean up. Armed with trash bags and gloves, we roll up our sleeves together and soon leave the area pristine and litter-free.
Then those who so desire often grab a cup of coffee or a bite to eat together…after which we go our separate ways having made a new friend or two and getting a little bit of exercise.
And comforted in the knowledge that we’ve made at least one little corner of the world look a lot better.
