Summary:
Kentucky, 1850. An enslaved groom named Jarret and a bay foal forge a bond of understanding that will carry the horse to record-setting victories across the South. I've read two other books by Brooks, and I love the way she
weaves through different timelines and crafts her stories. She always delivers an amazing tale. I look forward to this one.
