Oak Leaf Trail Ride (Milwaukee)

We will ride around the northern loop of Milwaukee's Oak Leaf Trail. Last year's route is attached (photo) for reference, but exact route may vary. Intent is to do a 30-40 mi ride at a moderate pace (est 11-14 mph). Ride leader is familiar with trail & surrounding areas. Last year we rode past 2 beer gardens, stopping at 1, then we ended at a 3rd, so plan on some longer stops & bring refreshment money.

Meet there at 9:45. Ride is out of town, so allow time for traffic varying or other surprises. It is a long enough ride that we can not wait long for stragglers. As always, it is STRONGLY ENCOURAGED that you exchange cell numbers with your ride leader in advance, this may prove life-saving later! We will not set any speed records & route is not too hilly. Still, it is a longer ride, so consider your capability to complete this before signing up. We will be on a mix of paved trails & urban streets, so consider your comfort level with that, too. It is a no-drop ride, so we do not intend to leave anyone back under normal circumstances.
