A Day at the Races: Paul Douglas Pursuit

Come spend a relaxing day at the mountain bike races at Paul Douglas Forest Preserve.

Chicago Area Mountain Bikers is hosting their third year of races at Paul Douglas.

I arrive at "Grassy Ridge Meadow" at the forest preserve EARLY so I can secure space under the trees on the east side of the parking lot. I will have a pop-up tent set and a "cocktail" table setup. Bring a chair and, perhaps your favorite beverage, and enjoy a day of conversation interspersed with some moments of mountain bike racing intensity! Really, this is all about hanging out with friends for a very long picnic. Some of us will be there all day so come and go as you please.

There is racing throughout the day and it's all over and done with by about 4:00 pm.

There is a food truck but I will have some snacks and anyone coming is encouraged to bring something to share.
