Paved Trail / Road Ride ~ 13 to 15 mph Pace ~ Approx 45 Miles Round Trip

We will meet at Froemming Park and ride the Oak Leaf Trail to the Hank Aaron Trail. Our route takes us past the Wisconsin State Fair Park as well as Miller Park; we will continue on to the Twisted Fisherman Crab Shack (http://www.twistedfisherman.com/) in Milwaukee where we will refresh with food and drink before our return trip. Bring your cameras as there will be plenty of photo opportunities!

Although this is a no-drop ride, all riders should be able to maintain a rolling speed of 13-15 mph for 45 miles.

On Saturday evening I will email my cell phone number to all those who have RSVPed "Yes" by that time - if you are not present AND have not contacted me by 9:00 am on Saturday, I will assume you are not coming. As always, if you RSVP "Yes" but your plans change, please kindly update your RSVP to "No" on the Meetup site before the scheduled ride time.

Please arrive early enough so you are ready to ride promptly at 9:00 am.

A HELMET IS MANDATORY for all Let's Ride bicycle rides. Also required, a working and properly maintained bicycle that will allow you to travel the distance and pace you have elected to ride.

As 'situational awareness' is critical to safe bicycling, EARBUDS, EARPHONES and LOUDSPEAKERS will NOT be ALLOWED on this ride.

You should also bring the normal accoutrement (ID with Emergency Contact and Insurance cards, spare inner tube, pump, etc.), proper attire based on the weather forecast, face mask, hand sanitizer, water, sunscreen, sunglasses, money for food and/or beverage, a bicycle lock and a good attitude!

NOTE:
By attending (or RSVPing) to this event, you consent to the risks inherent in group cycling—including falls, collisions, road hazards, traffic, and weather—and agree to participate at your own risk. You are responsible for your own safety, equipment, and decisions while riding. All riders must wear a helmet and obey all traffic laws. By participating, you release Let's Ride and its organizers and ride leaders from any liability arising from participation.
