Ride around the northern loop of Milwaukee's Oak Leaf Trail with us. Prior year's route may be attached later for reference, but exact route may vary. Intent is to do a 30-40 mi ride at a moderate pace (est 11-14 mph). Ride leader is familiar with trail & can guide us to 1 of 2 beer gardens along the way, or a 3rd at the start/end point! So perhaps bring a little money for refreshments.

Proposed meeting time 10:15 AM so we can roll at 10:30. Ride is out of town for many, so allow time for traffic varying or other surprises. It is hard to wait too long for stragglers! (That said, you are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to share a cell number with ride leader in advance!) We will not set any speed records & route is not too hilly. Still, it is a longer ride, so be comfortable with that when signing up, as well as with a mix of paved trails & urban streets. This is a no-drop ride, we will not leave anyone behind under normal circumstances.

Check Meetup again in case of cancellation due to weather or other day-of-ride updates. See ride leader with questions.

Also required: (a) HELMET (b) well-maintained bike (c) no earbuds/earphones (d) ID/emergency contact/insurance card (e) spare tube/air (f) extra layer/raingear/bug spray (g) sunglasses/sunscreen/water. (Recommend headlight/taillight for extra visibility.)
