Join us at Local Voices, a hands-on community meetup where creative minds come together to produce a local newspaper for our city! Whether you’re a writer, just opinionated about the DMV, photographer, illustrator, or just love stories, this is your chance to share your voice, learn new skills, and see your work in print.
At each meetup, we will:
Brainstorm and plan content for our upcoming newspaper issue
Learn storytelling, journalism, and creative writing techniques
Collaborate with other local creatives to produce articles, photos, and artwork
Build a network of passionate contributors and community members
