Bronze Age hike: Ulva Kvarn - Gamla Uppsala - Valsgärde - Fullerö
Details
We take bus 104 to Ulva Kvarn, and take a 10 km hike to Fullerö passing the twin Bronze Age sites of Gamla Uppsala and of Valsgärde north of it.
There are cafés (as well as artisan shops and one "lanthandel") at three spots on the way, as well as Pasqueflowers (baksippor) in full bloom. We choose which of the we visit by an ad hoc consensus. The trail is flat, dry, and for a good part of it, paved. It goes very approximately along Fyris (there is no riverside path proper) meeting the river at a few spots. We return on one of the frequent buses that stop at Fullerö.
We meet at bus stop C3 at the central station, near the Arlanda bus stop. No option to be late - buses are very infrequent.
