Strängnäs and Enköping

Taking a ride around lake Mälaren, we first stop in Strängnäs and explore its medieval cathedral and the fabulous bay view, then, after a lunch, take a bus to Enköping, where we hike through the chain of river parks in the spring bloom, and return to Uppsala.

The total hiking distance (Strängnäs + Enköping) is about 8km.

The trip involves three rides (90, 45, and 60 minutes respectively), with some spectacular lake views on the way. The total ticket cost is about 300kr (less with the student discount). In addition to two ordinary UL bus tickets you will need a train ticket to Strängnäs.

TRAIN TICKET INSTRUCTIONS:
* If you have a Movingo card, it might cover the route - please check.
Otherwise:
* You will need to buy a ticket for Mälartåg, departure 10:10, Uppsala-Strängnäs. Students pay the reduced price.
* Buy the ticket before you leave home. You can't buy their ticket when it is too close to the departure time.
