Linnés Hammarby

Linnés Hammarby – joint even with Cult of Uppsala - Sweden.
We meet at the bus stop B2 at Uppsala Central Station and take bus 102 at 9:45 to Danmarks kyrka. If you study or work at Uppsala University, bring yout ID for the free entrance to the site. Bring lunch/fika and something to sit on: there is a café and tables outdoors, but the place may be crowded.

We hike 3km on the path that Carl von Linné walked every Sunday, and arrive at Linnés Hammarby.

There is admission fee of 120kr for the site (it covers entrance to the museum and a guided tour), but
- UU students and employees enter free
- Anyone wearing an 18th century costume enters free today
- Students not from UU pay 100.
There is a guided tour in English at 12:30, but before that we can stroll through the historic park and have an outdoor lunch/fika.
We’ll gather before walking back together to Danmarks Church. For updates and coordination, we’ll use our WhatsApp group.

Please register for only one of the events – either with Cult of Sweden or with Let’s Walk Around Uppsala. If you can no longer attend, make sure to update your RSVP to free up your spot for someone else.
