Bloomfield Green Historic District Walk

Join us on an Oakeside Wellness Wednesday Walk as we explore the Bloomfield Green Historic District.
We will visit some of Bloomfield’s most prominent historic sites, learn about historic architecture, explore parts of the Morris Canal Greenway, and discover some of the historic sites that have been lost over time.
Distance: 3 to 3.5 miles, time: 1.5 to 2 hours
Meet at Oakeside Cultural Center, 240 Belleville Avenue. Park in the Oakeside parking lot.
Your hosts will be Jean Kuras, President of the Historical Society of Bloomfield and Mark Szep and Rich Rockwell of the Historical Society and Historic Preservation Commission.
We will pause periodically to hear the history of sites and view historical photos.
Walk will be rescheduled in case of inclement weather.
