Mills Reservation and Hawk Watch

We will meet at the parking lot located off of Normal Avenue in Montclair.

We will walk the trail that leads to the Montclair Hawk Watch, located on Old Quarry Rd, Cedar Grove, NJ 07009, and hopefully see some hawks! We will walk the trail back to the Normal Ave parking lot.

The walk will be about an hour (not including the time we spend at the Hawk watch).

Wear appropriate shoes. We will be walking on semi paved, woods and rocky surfaces.

Please plan to arrive 5 minutes early. The walk will start promptly.

The Mills Reservation is a county park, consisting of a 157.15-acres that is located in Cedar Grove and Montclair, New Jersey. The reservation is maintained by the Essex County Park Commission. The reservation has several walking/jogging trails, including four major trails and numerous smaller trails. One of the four main trails leads to a cliff that overlooks the New York skyline.
