About us
The Baltimore TimeBank encourages people to come together to create a sharing community through the giving and receiving of services. The TimeBank is built on the principles that strength lies in community and that all people have value, talents and skills. The TimeBank promotes equality, social change, and empowerment.
Time Banking allows individuals to exchange services in the form of time credits or hours. This means that regardless of an individual's situation, their innate talents can be utilized to help others as well as gain services they may need. The exchange is then mutually beneficial and strengthens the community.
