Love dancing, but only seem to get a chance at Xmas parties and weddings? Don't feel comfortable in boozy venues or need to stay out mega-late? Don't want to go to clubs on your own but miss a boogie? This group organises friendly, inclusive dance nights that have a 'no idiot' policy so people feel comfortable and it is not too crowded. People coming solo are particularly welcome as the group keeps an eye out for newcomers and makes sure you get up dancing in no time. Apart from hosting group events, it is also a place to find out about third-party events in the Edinburgh area (soul nights, day-time discos, etc.) and I've created a doc to show events that are upcoming as it is not always easy to find out about these from a single source.

Hi folks! Apologies, Angels Share have contacted me to say 8th Nov isn't available now because of the Scotland Rugby. They do have 15th Nov for 1pm-4pm so I've booked that. Hopefully long enough for people to get their dancing fix and head off at a reasonable time. It would be great to fill the place so pls spread the word. Price is £3.50 a head, and free for guests if you bring non-group members. I am going to try getting payments up front this time as it can be difficult to find time on the night to get contributions. My bank a/c details are below (if that isn't possible, I can accept cash on the night). It will be the usual mix of 60s,70s, 80s etc feel-good songs and may be getting a DJ this time who used to run a fun night (to be confirmed).
