Luxembourg European Annual Theatre Summer School
Summer School and Intensive Workshops will be held from Saturday 22nd to Sunday 30th Julyinclusive.
The Clairefontaine Centre d'Accueil lies on the border between Luxembourg and Belgium at the end of the gentle Durbaach valley surrounded by forests and fields and only ten minutes drive from Arlon and from the Brussels-Luxembourg motorway. It has its own extensive grounds, plentiful working spaces inside and out and accommodation that is simple yet comfortable. We also have our own bar.
The Summer School is an intensive 8-day residential course with activity revolving entirely around project work for directing, acting and music theatre singing students. Tutors work with students throughout the day, the various projects interweave and ongoing experience is shared.
The work is creative and inspiring, the pace impressive but rewarding, the atmosphere friendly and supportive. Because the emphasis is on process and not product (how can we do it, not how well do we perform), we can encompass a wide range of age, experience and skill.
For those who cannot attend a whole week there are also three two-day intensive workshops. Students can join for two, four or six days depending on whether they attend one, two or three courses.
