Three Notch Trail East Loop, S-F Scout Ranch

This will be a 7 to 10 mile loop hike starting at Castle Rock in S-F Scout Ranch.
NOTE: This hike is moderately difficult with 2 water crossings of the Little St Francis River.
MEET: Meet at the Castle Rock Parking Lot.
Meet at 9:00am
PACE: Our average pace will be about 2.8 MPH. We will stop several times along the way to regroup so we keep everyone together.
DIFFICULTY: Moderate-Hard
TRAIL SURFACE: Packed earth and gravel with rocky sections and steep climbs.
PETS: No pets allowed
BRING: This is a dirt/rock trail with steep climbs, so wear hiking boots, always bring the map of the area, lots of water, a snack for the trail, and lunch. Also, trekking poles are strongly encouraged to help keep your footing while hiking the steep hills. There are potentially water crossings requiring water shoes.
