SELF SHUTTLERS: Big River Kayaking 3 miles: Thunderbird Lodge at Washingtton SP

Details
THIS EVENT PAGE IS FOR SELF-SHUTTLERS TO RSVP AND ORGANIZE.
Big River is a tributary of the Meramec River, with scenic bluffs and plenty of gravel bars along the way during normal river levels. Current on the Big River during normal river levels generally moves at about 2-3 miles an hour.
We'll plan on a leisurely float with lots of beach stops along the way. This float took about three hours to complete when we floated in July, but you can stay on the river longer.
BRING: Beverages and food for yourself, bungee cords, a waterproof container to keep personal items safe and dry (keys, phone, etc.).
