Our team name is “Meet Up Let’s Hike” if you wish to use it.

The March to the Arch is a 21-mile memorial walk that begins in West County and concludes at the base of the Gateway Arch. The walk begins at 9:11 am on Thursday, September 11th. I suggest arriving by 8:45 to pick up your T-shirt and participate in the opening.

The starting point will be at Mike Duffy’s at 141 and Clayton Road. If you do not want to walk the entire way, you are more than welcome to join in at any point along the way with the group. We would like to finish together.

The approximate departure times from each rest location are as follows. The miles given are cumulative from the start.

9:11 AM 0.0 Duffy's Chesterfield

11:45 AM 6.6 Wells Fargo (20 min rest stop)

1:00 PM 9.0 Ladue Fire Dept. (20 min rest stop)

2:00 PM 12.0 Duffy's Clayton (30 min lunch break)

3:30 PM 14.3 MO History Museum (20 min break)

4:30 PM 17.4 St. Louis University (20 min break)

6:15 PM 21.0 The Arch (20 min ceremony)

Must find your own transportation back to your starting location.

There is no cost to participate in this walk. It is simply a walk to celebrate the freedom of America and all those who have died for it. We hope you bring your American flag and join us this year in our trek to the Gateway Arch.
