Al Foster Trail Hike/Walk

Let's hike the Al Foster Trail. While the bikers are biking, the hikers will be hiking!

Meet time 3:00 PM, hike at 3:05. Sunset is 4:47, so we must exit the park by 5:17.
Meet in the second parking lot on the left.

PACE: My pace is about 2.5-3 MPH

DISTANCE: Expect to take about 2-ish hours to complete.
We will choose one of these options:
Al Foster to Rock Hollow Trail and return is about 6.2 miles.
Al Foster to Sherman's Beach and return is about 5 miles.
Al Foster to Bluffview overlook and return is about 5 miles.

Trail:
The Al Foster trail is flat and crushed limestone, some dirt/rock sections. The Bluffview trail is dirt/rock and hilly.
The Rock Hollow trail is paved.

Bring: Plenty of water for yourself, good walking shoes or hiking shoes, BUG REPELLENT once the mosquitos start coming out, and maybe a snack.

Restrooms are in the parking lot.

Pets kept on short leads (no flexi-leads) are welcome.

THIS HIKE WILL BE CANCELED IF THERE IS BAD WEATHER.
