Bayard Cutting Arboretum

A multi-group event.
The Bayard Cutting Arboretum has a path that runs along the river called "River Walk" and it leads into the woods and onto some small islands (islands may still be closed). This walk will be nearly 3 miles if islands are closed, a bit more if they are open. This is a mostly flat paved and unpaved surface.....We will be sharing our walks with another walking group until our membership grows.
The walk through Bayard Cutting Arboretum will start next to the visitors center. I’ll be there at 1:15 to greet attending members, walk starts at 1:30. Always check your emails before leaving your house especially when rain is in the forecast. See you there.
Directions from Nassau (& Queens)> Southern State Pkwy eventually forks off (stay to the right) and becomes Heckscher State Pkwy. Get off at exit 45E Montauk Hwy. Go a short way and Arboretum is on the right
