Getting Over a Break-Up: The Letting Go Method
Break-ups can leave us stuck in loops of rumination, regret, anger, and longing. Many people try to solve the pain by thinking more about it… replaying conversations, analyzing what went wrong, or imagining different outcomes. Unfortunately, this often keeps the emotional wound active.

In this talk, we will explore a different approach: the letting go method.
Instead of trying to force positive thinking or suppress emotions, the letting go approach focuses on allowing feelings to arise fully and then releasing them, so they no longer control our thoughts or behavior.

In this session you will learn:
• Why break-ups trigger such powerful emotional reactions
• Why analysis and rumination often make the pain worse
• The psychological principle behind the letting go method
• A practical step-by-step technique for releasing painful emotions
• How to regain emotional stability and clarity after a relationship ends

This talk combines psychology, neuroscience, and philosophical traditions to provide a practical framework for emotional recovery.
Whether your break-up was recent or years ago, the tools discussed in this session can help you move toward acceptance, peace, and personal growth.
