Let's Visit Dinant

Come join LLB for a nice visit to one of the most picturesque cities of Belgium!

Day planning:

1. We leave from Heverlee station at 9AM.
2. We arrive in Dinant, have our first eye on the city, enjoy the Meuse. We might take a few pictures...
3. We visit the highlight: the Citadel
4. Collegiate Church of Notre Dame
5. Lunch
6. We admire the bridge and the saxophones. We also visit the House of Sax (free, shouldn't take long)
7. Up to you what you wanna do next: museum of Leffe, strawling the city, a small little hike around town...
8. We gather for dinner
9. Happy and full of memories we head back to Leuven.

Train stuff:

• We depart at Heverlee Station on Track 2 on the S20 train towards Ottignies. The train leaves at 09:00.
• We leave Dinant at 20.13 and should be back by 22.01 at Heverlee.
• If you want, you can depart from/arrive back at Leuven station instead on the same S20 train. We opted for the Heverlee station because it's less busy.
• Please buy your ticket beforehand. Look into Train+, it can save you money.

What to bring:

• A water bottle
• Phone (charged), power bank and charging cable
• Bank card, maybe some cash?
• Raincoat/umbrella/sunglasses, sunscreen and hat/snow boots/gloves/... depending on the weather
• Some snacks (if you want to)
• Comfortable walking shoes
• Student card or other benefits for cheaper access
• Camera (if you want to)
• Some earbuds/book/... for the train if you wanna zone out
