Radical Honesty in Practice

In this workshop we will present the concept ¨Radical Honesty¨ which is a communication philosophy that emphasizes complete openness and truthfulness in all interactions, even when the truth might be uncomfortable or socially unconventional.

Practicing radical honesty means:
• Saying exactly what you think and feel without filtering for politeness or social norms.
• Avoiding even small lies or omissions meant to protect feelings.
• Accepting and expressing emotions openly instead of suppressing them.
• Being direct in personal and professional relationships, even when the truth is awkward or painful.

While some find radical honesty liberating and believe it fosters deeper connections, others argue that it can be unnecessarily harsh, socially disruptive, or even hurtful. In this session we will discuss the pro's & con's of this level of honesty.
