Details
Save the date for VegRehoboth's next VegWinterFest on Sunday, March 16, 2025.
Doors open at 9 am. Program begins at 10 am.
MORNING MINDFULNESS AND MEDITATION - Join Erin Shivone for a gentle yoga and meditation.
FEATURED SPEAKER - Paul Williams, Chief Meteorologist of WRDE Coast TV will share (and film!) his humorous personal testimony about how he transformed his health by changing to a plant-based diet.
That's right, Paul will have his own film crew onsite to record this momentous occasion!
"WHY I AM PLANT-BASED"
A panel shares how a health scare prompted them to eat plant-based. Heart attacks, arthritis, and colon cancer are some of the topics our panel will cover. Includes Dr. Chris Degnon, a triple board certified in Family Medicine, Obesity Medicine, and Lifestyle Medicine. She is a Plantrician Provider who understands that a pill for every ill is not the answer, and she embraces the nutritional science that overwhelmingly supports the efficacy of whole food, plant-based nutrition and its ability to prevent and, often, reverse diseases.
SUSTAINABILITY SYMPOSIUM
Sen. Russ Huxtable and County Councilwoman Jane Gruenebaum join our panel of political and community members to discuss issues such as Avian Flu, Community Composting, and Food Waste.
