The Lewis Carroll Society is delighted to have Alberto Manguel give the 2021 Roger Lancelyn Green Lecture.
Alberto Manguel is the Director, Centro de Estudos da História da Leitura (CEHL), Lisbon. Furthermore, he is an acclaimed writer with an international reputation as an anthologist, translator, essayist, novelist and editor. He is the best-selling author of A History of Reading and Curiosity. Fabulous Monsters: Dracula, Alice, Superman, and Other Literary Friends was published in 2019.
He translated Guillermo Martinez's latest novel, "The Oxford Brotherhood" where the Lewis Carroll Brotherhood (no relation) is involved in a discovery concerning the missing pages from Carroll's diary with fatal results!
