Americana and Bluegrass Musicians Circle Jams

Please Note:
We are now hosting a UK OLLI Bluegrass Music Education and Open Circle Jam SIG (Special Interest Group). You need to be 50 and over, plus a current member of Univ. of Kentucky's Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI), and register for this group. We are a group of musicians who sing and "play" autoharp, banjo, bass, dobro, guitar, fiddle, harmonica, mandolin, and related acoustic instruments. We meet every other Tuesday evening from 7 to 8:30 pm at Crestwood Christian Church. Once you "join OLLI and register" for our group, bring a music stand, a binder, and your instrument! We will provide the lyrics and chords of many favorite bluegrass and gospel songs. Our next UK OLLI Bluegrass Jam is Tuesday, Feb 24th.
We also participate in Lexington SongFarmers (part of WoodSongs Front Porch) acoustic circle jam which plays and sings Americana music. Unless we are hosting a community music jam at a library or other location, we will be rehearsing at American Legion Post 8. Our schedule has been fluctuating of late. Check with us first!
